This tour guides you around the cities prominent attractions as well as give you a glimpse of it’s history.  

We start the day at the V&A Waterfront scratchpad. Many people don’t realize that half of the world’s gemstones can be found in South Africa. Here you can have fun digging for your own gems, as well as visiting gemstone exhibitions. 

We then take a short ride into town to visit the diamond museum.
The Shimansky Diamond Museum does not only hold millions of rands worth of diamonds but also a wealth of knowledge regarding of the historic S.A diamond rush. This features well-known figures such as Barney Barnston and the lesser known     15yr old Erasmus Jacobs who unknowingly began the diamond rush.

Iziko Museum is our next stop giving us insight into South   Africa’s natural and material culture history. The museum was founded in 1825 by Lord Charles Somerset as the first museum in the country, it’s location being in the company gardens. It exhibits fossils ranging from 700 million years old fish, insects and various wild life.

Company Gardens are the oldest gardens in South Africa located in the heart of Cape Town. They were originally planted in the 1650s by the regions first European settlers as a fertile ground to grow fresh fruit & vegetable produce to replenish ships from the Cape Town India & beyond.

District Six Museum recalls the history of the district six community that was forcibly removed from the areast by the apartheid government. This was a common practice in that time splitting a lot of families dividing them according to their racial profile. We visit the museum to learn about this vibrant and historically significant neighborhood.

We finish the day the day with the best way to view the city of Cape Town and this is from the top of Table Mountain if the mother city’s weather permits us. You will have all-round breathtaking views of the city.

Cape Peninsula

We start the morning driving towards Cape Point, the southern most tip of the African continent.

We make a stop in Simon’s Town, one of the important towns in the Cape as it is one of South Africa’s most important naval base.

We stop of to do a harbour cruise in this picturesque historical naval town on the  boat called “Spirit of Just Nuisance “. 

We then make our way to Boulders Beach spending time with penguins on the beach.

We continue making our way to our destination of Cape Point where the Atlantic and Indian oceans meet. This truly is a must see view! Experience the amazing views of the point and natural plant life and animals that inhabit the nature reserve.

A light lunch is included in the tour.

The itinerary is as follows :

• Day 1 is the guests’ departure and arrival from their destination 
• Day 2  The guests are checked in the hotel, allowed to rest and get their first taste of cape town visiting Table mountain (weather permitting)
• Day 3  We visit Cape Point where the beautiful two oceans meet and then go to Boulders beach to play with the penguins.
• Day 4 We will be going on a cultural tour visiting the slave museum, district 6 museum and then the historical company gardens with its surroundings.
• Day 5  We visit the amazing views of the Kirstenbosch Botanical gardens and include hiking to some waterfalls in the area.
• Day 6 A visit to Robben Island for some historical insight on political struggles in the apartheid era of hero’s like Nelson Mandela and Walter Sisulu.
• Day 7 We visit a crocodile farm for Croc cage diving, very thrilling and exciting.
• Day 8  A must for every wine lover, a private tour of the Cape Winelands done by a sommelier with great knowledge of the area.
• Day 9 A full day safari at one of the Cape’s best game reserve hoping to see all of the famous big 5 animals.
• Day 10  I leave this day to the guests to venture out on their own to discover our city further; or if you have any special request for this this day, it can be arranged.
• Day 11 The last day we visit the Aquarium at the v&a waterfront, then the township and enjoy a farewell dinner surrounded by African music.
• Day 12 Departure day. We say our goodbyes (for now) and take the last pictures after a week of great memories!

Chauffeur – 6 seater vehicle

Relax, take pics, see the sea, breathe the air, enjoy your holiday. This service is for those who want to have their own taxi for the day, a driver and car at their service for 8 hrs or not more than 250kms around the cape town area. For the price of R2 400 for persons not more than six.

This removes the hassle of hiring a car and being restricted to enjoy yourselves without worrying about how many drinks you’ve had.
